What Does The Red I Mean On 2004 VW Polo TDI?

Ive seen a few TDI polos same age as mine and most have a silver TDI badge, mine has a silver TD and red I an im just wondering what the difference is if any...thanks

I dont know if the polo is the same as the golf but the 1.9TDI Golfs come in 90bhp, 105bhp 110bhp and 150 bhp,
The silver TDI is the 90bhp, red I is the 105, red TI is the 110 and Red TDI is the 150bhp
