I'm currently researching the song "Lucille" by Kenny Rogers and it's importance and impact on America. My teacher says its about Vietman...how in the world did he get that out of the song? Any information you have will be greatly appreciated.

It isnt about Viet Nam at all..
it's about infidelity and that's about it...
PS...even teachers can be wrong, sometimes.
