What fairy tale creatures should be in my screenplay?

I'm writing a musical that's a twist on Sleeping Beauty. And it's basically Sleeping Beauty's dream throughout the 100 years she was asleep. It has Prince Phillip and the commoner she was friends with when she was Briar-Rose (Oliver), and she lives out a life of luxury with prince Phillip, and a life of happiness with Oliver. Along the way, she's trying to find ways to wake herself up. I was thinking of lacing in some other well known fairy tales. Like having Cinderella live near the kingdom and give her advice on being royalty. What other fairy tales could be added to her dream?
