I have two bettas, a male and a female (who live in separate tanks, of course). I'm going to move one of them into the new, big tank, while the other will remain in the larger of the old tanks. Would it be better to keep the male solitary where he is and put the female in the community tank? What kinds of fish would you recommend go with him or her?
Or should I get a divider for the 26g so they each have 13g on their own? I doubt it would cause them any stress to be in the same tank, as their tanks have been pressed together for the last few months...but what do I know?
