What happened to Aaron?

any ideas on what happened to aaron on lost? and why was kate all mad when jack asked where he was?

I think Kate got pregnant last night in order to leave Aaron behind and use herself as a proxy for Claire and her baby. We don't know what happened or where she went before she showed up at Jack's place. I think she had a meeting with Eloise, and was told what to do. She left Aaron with the grandmother.
