I have been trying to find a weighted dog dish, which I want to use to hold my chickens water (the silly birds keep knocking their current bowl over). All six of the pet stores I've visited trying to find one say they don't carry them anymore. I know they used to have them, because I got one for my cat (he likes to knock his water over when he's done drinking) just a few years ago. I can't find them online either, not even on e-bay. Did weighted bowls get banned, or did they just fall out of popularity?
