I've had T-Mobile for about 4 months, and I paid the first 2 months.
My phone has been off for about a month (I haven't paid my bill in 2 months). I lost my job and recently moved, so it has been impossible for me to get the money to pay the bill. The bill is now up to $500 (I saw that coming) and I'm debating on paying it or not. Yeah, I know this whole thing is my fault, but I've been in a tough situation. I known I will be taken to collections and my credit score may be completely ruined.
Also, the phone was originally purchased through a finance. ($100 down, $15 a month)
Is it worth not paying?
What exactly will happen in terms of collections and how long this will affect my credit score?
I already pay rent and PG&E consistently (those are bigger bills to affect my credit score than T-Mobile). What's going to happen?
Thanks!
