What happens to Professor Snape at the end?

I never got round to reading the 7th HP book and i really wanted to know what happens to snape at the end of everything? is it a happy ending for him?

he's dead.
yeah, we can say that death is a happy ending for him. i read the 7th book long time ago, but if i'm not mistaken, voldemort is the doer of that murder.
at least he's dead after the truth is revealed. :)
 
He dies but Harry names one of his future kids after him. Albus Severus Potter.
 
I can't remember.. does Snape die? I think he dies. But its a really complex twist to it all.
 
i don't think you can call this a happy ending,,,voldemort killed him because he thought that snape was the owner of the elder wand (if you read the 6th potter book dumbledore was killed by snape but later harry will find out that snape didn't kill him)which is owned by dumbledore.then when harry found out what really happened in the pensieve he sort of loved snape in the end and he even named one of his kids after him.
