What if "evolution" is an introduced Design based on the original creation...

...by external intelligent beings? Some other 'entity' could have used a cell DNA and duplicate its content, altering it - making it a virus instead - with a totally different purpose. Why are we so arrogant that believe we are the "last Coca Cola of the desert", so to speak, and there is no other 'intelligent' entity out there that surpasses ours? After all, we ourselves have done the same thing - crudely - with dogs.
WellTrav... - obviously you haven't traveled enough to see Archeological sites with no Man made explanation (Balbec, Machu Pichu, Sacsa Huaman, Tiahuanacu, etc). What more evidence of 'intelligence' you expect? A rocket's driver's Licence? We have drawings of them with helmets and other stuff, beside their construction.
Michael - Sir Isaac Newton speculated with his thoughts and created a book called 'Principia'. I suggest you to read it in English, although it was written in Greek and Latin. From there he created Fluxions (go find what this is).
A boot... - according to your own words, you do not believe you exist. We are supposed to be an holographic image composed of molecular thoughts at the edge of a gigantic time-worped black hole, where now even the speed of light as a constant is in question. You assumption is not only non credible, but laughable.
ANDRE L - (with capitals, eh?) Man's design is the authentic and original one. Additions and attemps to ruin it have been around for aions. We perceive that in other kingdoms aswell; insects, for instance. You can perceive "copies" all over. Those are clearly shown "by their fruits". Some are 'good' and others only 'kill, destroy and rob' the other ones. Look at viruses; you think God designed them?
Steve - (are you The Steve Wonder? You must be blind!) Google Monsanto and research what they do to corn and other plants. They work with DNA (it does not read Damn American Asses, btw) and the have already spliced aracnid DNA and Tomatoe's. You live under a rock, Steve? If we, pathetic minds with only a few Teras of information lived (12000 years) come across this technology so fast, what would another breed of intelligent beings not done in billions?
Im a dolphin ... - (all is in a name) What do you know; you're only a 'fish'! (Dolphins are mammals, I know that)

What if what if what if. It's wild speculation. Speculation is not evidence.

The Creationist argument is that the Universe, our World, and our bodies are all too complex to have developed on their own. They claim that this means that there must be a god, as nothing so complex as these things could possibly exist without being created.

But then - who created god? Their answer to this question: God always existed. He exists outside of time and space. However:

How is it that a god can always have existed, but the Universe can not? When religious people claim that their god created the Universe, they don’t worry about the creation of their god, who supposedly has always existed. If you can accept a god that always existed, why can’t you accept a Universe that always existed?

A creator doesn't solve the problem of something from nothing. If god is finite - where did he come from?If god is infinite - why can't the universe be?

why do we need to being in aliens or gods or whatever? What do they bring to the explanation of life on earth?

Show me the need for intervention and I will look at the probabilities as to what caused it.

Got any evidence to show that's true?
No, you don't.
So your speculation is worthless.

And since evolution by natural selection adequately explains life on earth without needing to postulate "external intelligent beings" for which there is no evidence, why postulate them?

Peace.

And what if we're all just batteries in the Matrix? You can come up with wacky conspiracy theories all day, but ask yourself: is there any reason to think this wacky conspiracy theory is true?

,,,,
so this is the kinds of claims that a person that dare to attack my knowledge do?Huh?

The only thing that i can tell is that You are in a dire need of an "external intelligent being to educate you"

I tend to go for the explanation that requires the least unsupported assumptions.

Unless you can prove your entity exists I'll stick with the non-entity version of evolution.

I work with scientists daily and most think it very probable that there is life - very possibly far more advanced than us - out there somewhere.
