What information do I include when selling a laptop over the internet?

I'm selling my ThinkPad on Kijiji and several people seem to be interested in my ad stating just that i'm selling a ThinkPad.

I have only been asked price and information but what information should I include as I am not much of a computer geek. And also, where do I find this information? The laptop was given to me so I don't have any documents stating the info that I may need.

Please Help!

All I know is that it's a ThinkPad A22m circa '02

Click start, control panel, and select system. That's the information you need to advertise. You can also go to IBM's support web site (using the Thinkpad) and the site will poll the computer and tell you everything about it.

Make and model
Operating system
CPU type and speed.
Memory (RAM) amount
Disk size
CD/DVD burner or read only
Screen size and screen resolution
Battery size and age
Software included.
Graphics Card type and memory size.

All this info can be gathered by downloading and running PCWizard from www.cpuid.com

It is free and easy to use and will provide a full report on all your hardware.
