what is a running code. I am asking this in day to day life too, as one of my friend asked 'do I have a running code at home'.
 
Sounds a bit weird, but he might mean that there's a program running at home.

A program contains binary code that can be executed. As example, i am now typing this on google chrome, therefore i am running google chrome, therefore i am running code on this computer.
