what is an inexpensive durable 4x4 vehicle for me? (truck, suv)?

DONT get a toyota, truck they suck just like nissian, If your gunna get a truck get a dodge! For something your doing maybe check out craigslist.org and look for some. Maybe for a truck you should look at a 02-06 dodge ram 1500 or if even a dodge ram 2500 diesel but that may be too expensive but for a suv try a chevy surburban or a older tahoe like a 01 they are durab;e and stabe suvs but i suggest get a truck either dodge (my favorite) or a chevy. You dont really need a liftkit. but some offroad tires yea u do.
 
hey guys im look for a durable vehicle for myself. 4wd and 4 door. i want to haul my bike around (pedal bike) and use it for alot of outdoor kinda things. i also want to take it off road but not anything too rough. maybe lift it and put some off road tires on it. im on a budget of about 17000. ive been looking at 05 xterra's. i was looking at the 05+ tacoma's but they are too expensive. any suggestions?
