I've heard about movies like the curious case of benjamin button winning like 13 oscars, but what are oscars exactly does a film need to accomplish certain qualities to be entitled with this award, what process must a film encounter
-oh and slum dog millionaire won like 11 oscars i think
-i'm really curious
and finally whats the difference between an oscar and a grammy award

grammy's are for singers/musical entertainers and oscars are for movies/motion pictures...basically on oscar is like the most prestigious award in hollywood...if you get one, then damn you're good..if you get more than one then holy shit you're god lol...13 oscars in benjamin button means that it had a lot of qualities and performances that were way above the top...for example, lead actor, lead actress, best director, best motion picture...there's an oscar for everything that has to do with movies

Oscar Nomination is being nominated for an oscar xD like having a chance to win it.
Grammys are for music and Oscars are for movies.
 
oscars are awards for movies and it depends on what category they are won like best picture or best actor best score etc. a grammy award is for the music industry.

The movie the Curious Case of Benjamin Button was 'nominated' for 13 awards, but hasn't 'won' any yet. The voting is still being done, and the awards aren't given until April 2009. The Grammy awards have already been given out. Grammys go to movies, but also to television shows and musicians. I'm not sure who it is who give out the Grammy awards, but you can do a search and find out for yourself.
