Many folks think that man's contribution to global warming is negligible and that the global warming is caused by natural phenomena, and that global warming and cooling is a cycle which has been going on for a long time before man ever arrived on this planet.
For the sake of argument, let us accept the consensus of manmade global warming. If they really want us to get out of cars, wouldn't they call for the return of horse and buggies for them who want them? We could create special lanes just for them, and block it from the rest of the lanes with concrete blocks or whatever. The point is, it can be done. And the clippity-clop from the horses would be sootheing.
We could put a deposit on the horse dung, and the same dudes who pick up soda pop cans and bottles would pick up the doo-doo, too.
So what's wrong with that?
