In addition both recurve and long bow require you to hold the full weight of your draw whereas a compound bows draw weight falls off to a fraction of its throw weight allowing for greater accuracy. If you have your heart set on going old school a recurve is more appropriate for most hunting situations.</p></blockquote><p></p>
