Well I have this silly little concern because I'm from LA and I'm moving to either Janesville or Madison (probably Janesville) in January U v U

I've never been to the Midwest so I have no idea what people are like over there, fashion-wise! I'm afraid I won't fit in?

Well I'm kind of....eccentric? :C I've lived in places like Los Angeles and San Francisco so my style is pretty...out there. My hair changes colors often and it will probably be either teal or pink by the time I move, and my style inspiration comes from Harajuku street snaps.

I'm just wondering if I should tone it down so as not to scare everyone, or if I should go ahead and be myself?

Thank you in advance!! :>

Hey, im from madison:)! Well my first instinct is to tell you to of COARSE, be yourself with your style, but i could understand why you would want to have a heads up on the fashion scene here. Out in Janesville, its a lot more preppy/ generic (hollister, abercrombie, blah). But in Madison, the style is really rad. People are into stores like urban outfitters, second hand thrift stores, H&M, and really envoirnmentally friendly clothing options. At the same time, people in Madison are very into indivituality and expressing one's true sself, so your style could be a great addition to our city:)

No different than anywhere else. You find all types here. Some areas may be a little bit more like you others may be a little more conservative. Dress how you prefer and you will be just fine. You will love it here. Just bring some warm clothes for the winter. You wont see anything above 60 again until about April 15th. Good luck
