Message: <blockquote data-quote="Karle1" data-source="post: 2016875" data-attributes="member: 723328">starter replacement has nothing to do with anything inside the vehicle....it is bolted to the transmission were the engine and transmission meet.....and yes the starter is sometimes call starter motor because that is what it is a motor that starts ur engine......on that vehicle its 2 or 3 wires to disconnect and 2 bolts and then pull out the old 1 and put the new 1 in its place.....i wud suggest buying a repair manual preferably haynes so that u will have step by step directions....good luck</blockquote>
