What is it that makes discussing and arguing about science and religio so fun?

Why do I enjoy looking up videos where people are getting into heated debates about religion and science?

Am I just a contentious a**hole?
 
Nothing~!!!! we do believe in science to a point and the atheist believes in nothing
 
I don't know, probably because it's so easy to argue against something that has no evidence.

Science ~ Classical mechanics, thermodynamics, electrodynamics, cosmology, special relativity, general relativity, quantum mechanics, quantum field theory, quantum electrodynamics, quantum chromodynamics, bosonic string theory, super-string theory, M-theory, calculus, differential geometry, linear algebra, evolution, neuro-biology, bio-chemistry, paleontology, the greatest minds in the world, the large hardron collider, the hubble telescope, the list goes on...

Religion ~ A bronze-age book.
 
It's a true Politic and the media seems to teach us that politics are cool.
 
I don't think so. Personally, I look through the religious section for rude question aimed towards atheist so I can debate about it with them. I think it's just kind of fun to see both sides of an argument. If you like that stuff you should consider taking a debate class if you don't already.
