...Nissan Frontier 4 cyl. king cab? I was in the process of replacing the power steering pump but couldn't loosen a nut that had a thin wire going through it directly on top of it from another part of the engine. The wire is in the way if I were I to use a socket wrench. Is this wire some kind of electrical sensor device for the PSP?
 
Maybe a sensor for a warning light if the power steering fluid is low? Couldn't you just disconnect the wire?
