I am buying a motorcycle for the first time. I have never owned or ridden a street bike before but have ridden a dirt bike and am very interested. I am going off to college this coming fall and need transportation. Between the mobility of the bike, the great gas mileage, its low purchase cost, and its ability to fulfill my need for speed, I am excited to invest in a bike. I have done my research and have concluded that I want to get a bike in the 600cc range. I am looking for suggestions for a good bike in this range, but a bike with an older year so that I might find one cheaper than a new one. Any suggestions (including make model and year) fo a bike I should be looking at?
