what is the best cpu for the best price?

right now i got a intel core 2 duo e6750 1333fsb 6 mb of cache and im looking to upgrade to a faster dual core or a slower-medium speed quad core if you have any good cpu recomendations it would be nice
i mean a specific core and also im a huge gamer
