What is the best DVD-R discs for Mac OSX Tiger?

I keep getting a error when burning saying the drive became unresponsive about halfway through burning. And I'm out of discs (they were cheap) so I'm looking for something more reliable. Any ideas please?

I have the built-in Matshita DVD-R UJ-85J drive. PLEASE ANSWER ASAP!!
