What is the best forward-facing toddler seat to use in a truck with extended cab?

I am looking at buying a 4WD pickup. I live in the mountains of WV and really need to get something that will safely get my family from point A to point B as well as provide a vehicle that I can work out of. I am currently looking at a 1995 F150 4X4 with a supercab. The toddler seat that we currently own is just too deep. It hangs off the seat a bit. Does anyone have any insight on what is the best seat to use here. And please don't respond if you are just going to tell me to buy a different truck. I don't have a lot of money to work with. I just need some help on finding a seat that my baby can ride in and will fit in the truck properly.
