What is The Best Harvest Moon Ds game?

I am getting a 3Ds Because Of all the old classics they are bringing back like Zelda and Star fox but the Harvest Moon games look fun to could you tell Me witch one is the best Preferably one that is not gender locked if there is one (my sister might want to play)
 
The best Harvest Moon farming simulation DS game (up to now) is probably Island of Happiness, which has very similar concepts to Harvest Moon DS (it's predecessor), but exceeds it in several respects:
-Island of Happiness has 3-dimensional graphics, utilizing the DS's graphics capability.
-Island of Happiness gives you the option at the beginning of choosing gender, instead of forcing the player to buy the separate gender game (Harvest Moon DS Cute is the girl version).
-It has more in depth tutorials that demonstrate how to work your ranch, which makes the game easier to get the hang of.
-Your child can be either a boy or a girl.
-Your ranching has an actual goal (to populate the island) and the game has a better sense of progression.
-While the festivals are mostly the same, some can be more interactive (ie, rallying friends to build snowmen at the snow festival and choosing dates to accompany you to the starry night festival).
Island of Happiness's spin-off (Sunshine Islands) will be released in North America in November of 2009. It features two new marriable characters and more Islands to explore.
