changing the wires & plugs. More?)? I want to put Bosch Platinum+4 in there. They worked great on my Volkswagens and BMW, and while I realize that is all Germany, I cant see NGK being the best. Unless it is. (I obviously want the best Spark Plug and Wire combination to maximize the engine as a normal everyday reliable driver, with maximum efficiency and power, no crazy fast and furious Nitro or anything... to state the obvious. Some people do put Nitro in anything.)

Also, what are the best plugs? And is Autolite really the maker of plugs that are any good?

I really want to put something better than the standard Plugs in, because I am almost convinced it will help... at the same time, 'Pulse plugs' and Iridium plugs do seem like too much, and inappropriate for my 1.9L four.

I appreciate the input. Also, what else goes with the tune up in terms of the 'Distributor Rotor'? And PCV valve, certain lines, stuff like this... Thanks! - Joseph

Don't use Bosch plugs in American vehicles.
Autolite Platinum or Iridium plugs work fine.
Don't buy the cheapest plug wires, the ends always come off the wires next time you pull them off the spark plugs.
