What is the best tour to the Great Barrier Reef?

Hey.

Going to NZ and Australia in a few weeks, and obviously we will visit the Great Barrier Reef.

What is the best tour from Port Douglas to do, which escapes the tourists ?

A couple of years ago I went from Port Douglas on a boat called Aristocrat. Avoid at all costs. The boat was nice but the guide was a useless pillock. The reef wasn't very spectacular either. I was told they were one of the good companies!

Also, if you're planning on Scuba Diving make sure you have some experience before hand, it is really difficult especially if you're in the reef and it is your first time!
