Message: <blockquote data-quote="EricF" data-source="post: 1668398" data-attributes="member: 157679">there is a wire you have to unplug.  It's supposed to be grey with a whilte stripe, mine was tan with a white stripe.just follow the wires from the distributor.  the wire has a plastic connector on it, it's easy to disconnect.  finding it is pretty easy as well, it's a single wire and kinda stick out by itself.so unplug it, make your timing adjustments then plug it back in.  engine off when you disconnect and re-connect.to clear codes, just disconnect the battery for 20 minutes.</blockquote>
