C champers Member Jul 17, 2008 #2 Bluray looks way better than upscaled dvds. They have about 5 times the detail if you have a good enough TV (1080i/1080p)

D dashinguy New member Jul 17, 2008 #3 most of the bluray players upscale dvds . bluray can obviously play dvds and blurays at the full hd resoultion thatis 1080p wheres dvds can only play dvds and artifically upscale dvds to make it 1080p . hope tht helps good luck
