What is the format for a full block style letter?

Also, what does it mean by spaces? Cause i keep seeing 6-10 spaces and if "spaces" means how many time you press shift+enter or enter then doesn't that seem way too much space at the top of the letter? Also what are the usual margins?

Also, in business letters, what spacing do they usually use when short bond paper is used? 1.5 or 2?
