After installing the package, the codecs will enable QuickTime Player to play the same .DIVX and .MKV files, so unless you simply love the player or want to use its cool desktop video feature, you can trash it and use QuckTime Player for .DIVX and .MKV files. Other formats that DivX Player handles can be enabled in QuickTime Player by installing Perian.</p></blockquote><p></p>
