days or once every month-same date? called the Dr.'s office to get my prescription for adderall. Last time I got it filled was on January 9th, so I would have my last dose on February 7th. The dr. wasn't in the office so the nurse told me that she would predate it for feb. 9th. After figuring it all out I told her that my 30 days would be up on the 7th. She insisted that it didn't matter and that it was the law, saying the prescription was supposed to be written every month on the same date. After telling her that I wouldn't have enough to cover me till the 9th, she still insisted that was the law. My Dr. has given me my prescription sometimes 3 or even 4 days ahead of the 30 day mark. Does anyone know the law for this sort of drug? Is it once every 30 days not mattering if the 30 day mark falls on the exact day of the next month? I hope someone can answer me b/c I have searched everywhere and nothing is clear about it. Thank You.
