I've been searching everywhere trying to understand what's going on but it's really confusing and I need to write an essay on exactly what is happening with Wikileaks. I know that Wikileaks is a non-profit organization that publishes confidential information from anonymous users. I know it has published copies of the US cables but I can't quite understand why they are targetting Amazon, mastercard, Paypal and Visa and how were these websites linked in the first place as I thought wikileaks was illegal and Amazon is a very trusted website and so are the others. Does this also mean that accounts on these websites are at risk of being hacked or is the protest just about people deleting their accounts. I'm so confused about all this can someone please explain this to me better. Thank you
