What is the most recommended speaker system for my car? [Mitsubishi Eclipse]?

I know nothing about car systems.. do I need a subwoofer, speaker box, amp, all of them?? I'm just not sure. I don't want to spend too much money, but a reasonable system w/ decent bass, b/c I love bass. Also, what brand names are the best?
