Message: <blockquote data-quote="song" data-source="post: 2109213" data-attributes="member: 134900"><p>Jesus defeated death on the cross and was resurrected as the first fruit of God's salvation plan.  He is God and the son of God.  Human divine.  And the cross as a symbol is idolatry.  We should not be using this symbol.  It should not be worn on our wrists or hung around our necks.  We should not get it tattooed on our bodies.  We should not bow our heads to them or hang them above the altar in our churches.  They should not mark the rooftops of our churches.  We should remember the sacrifice of the cross, but we should not make them out of wood, or iron, or silver, or gold, or anything else.  This is not a matter of opinion; this is how God wants us to live.</p></blockquote><p></p>
