Ok, so I come from a long line of hunters and outdoorsmen and I have seen my fair share of bear hunts using dogs and baiting. However, I just do not see the sport in this. I mean, your letting a pack of baying dogs run a bear up a tree, then you run up and shoot it out.....how is this a "respectful" death for such a majestic animal? Believe me, I am NOT one of these anti-hunting ranters you see on here so often, I would just like to know some opinions on this matter. Thank you
Newell. You are the reason my last account got banned.....Go F yourself and don't answer any more hunting questions because you have no idea what your talking about...your a gay school teacher who lives in the city....This forum should not even concern you.
I can see where your coming from there...and granted i don't enjoy sitting in a tree waiting on a deer, I'm much more of a spot and stalk hunter. However, because of the location and the nature of the deer here, I'm stuck sitting in a treestand.
I'm not exactly a houndsman but I do own a couple hounds. 2 Black & Tan's along with my german shorthairs.
Well to each there own I guess. I love bear meat and i have no problem with killing an animal. I just needed someone to clarify the thinking of bear hunters. Thank you sir.
