actual use? For example... putting a wild rhino on a leash... you can't walk a rhino... it's just there for the humor.
 
I think its called comedy, or social commentary or satire.

What messed me up was the "more for humor" thing. But we're not using that, right? Something not being used....
I think what you're trying to get to is ridiculousness, which is funny. As in If the first guy who designed a drawing board made a mistake, what would he go back to?
Maybe you could answer that question.
