I used to have this recurring dream when I was younger and it would be the same thing every single time. I was in a never ending hallway with a huge boulder coming after me and I would always be running away from it, but it would always catch up. I always woke up right before it crushed me. What could this mean?

Dreaming is like having a built in therapist. When you dream its like your brain is preparing or desensitizing you for less than desirable outcomes that may freak you out. This way when something bad happens you won't freak out. The dream you describe sounds like you are in a situation where you are powerless. Your brain is desensitizing you from being in a powerless situation where you can't do anything. This may reduce anxiety in your waking life. Read "dare to dream" readers digest.

It's your brain playing tricks. If you think it's a sign you will be crushed by a boulder in the future, forget about it. It's not going to happen.
