Hi everyone,
For the past 2 weeks I've been experiencing regular headaches. They start behind the middle of my nose and start off feeling like an "ice-cream headache" (you know the kind where you eat an icecream quickly and you get the sharp pain in your head for a few seconds) ... then suddenly I will get throbbing at the back of my head and near my ears. There are also sharp pains behind my eyes... the headaches will last anywhere between 30 seconds to 15 minutes... and then will just go. Nurofen, panadol, panadeine forte don't work - nothing seems to stop them... they aren't migraines and definitely are not cluster headaches...
Along with the headaches, I've also been experiencing terrible dizzy spells - the kind you get if you stand up too quickly... and they will start at any given time, I don't need to stand up to get them. My blood pressure has been tested today and is fine, I don't drink and don't take any drugs or medications. Last week my bones started throbbing too...
I'm never sick and have never experienced pain like this before - is there anyone out there who can offer any suggestions? My doctor has referred me to a neurologist as he seems concerned, but the waiting list is 3 months long...
Any opinions in the meanwhile would be greatly appreciated!! thanks for your help guys
