Lately on here I have seen so many people giving their children two middle names. Unless this is honoring two relatives because you couldn't pick just one..I think it is kinds of silly...Why make your child's name longer then it has to be? I'm sure they won't be too happy when they have to sign there whole name and it's 30 letters long. I'm not saying it's an awful idea...I'm just saying I don't understand and want people to help me understand the purpose...or if there isn't one.
I think it's because the relative thing that you mentioned. Also if the kids have their English name and a foreign one? I have a friend who has her English name, her English middle name, and then her Chinese name all on her birth certificate.
My boyfriend wants to name a boy Kody Ace Matthew. The only reason he likes it, it because he just thinks it sounds cool. I personally can't stand that name!
I really think the idea of giving a child two middle names is pointless. Imagine how burdensome that must be! I would never give my child two middle names. One works just as well, if not better.
