What Is Wrong With My Jeep?

I have a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 4.0 L6. Recently there has been a humming sound that increases with my speed. It ONLY makes then sound when I give it gas. It's not a vibration, it's just a sound that gets loud as I go faster. It's not a wheel bearing because it only does it when I accelerate, as soon as I take my foot off the gas the sound stops. A few friends have told me that it is a bad motor mount, how would I tell if it was?
