What is wrong with my rap flow?

Some reason, I can freestyle REAL good when I'm by myself and hyped up by listening to songs, but when I try to write lyrics or freestyle in front of people, it dosent turn out as well. When I try to write, it dosent come out right to me, freestyle in front of friends make me pretty nervous which causes it not to be good. I dont understand what is going on. My bro is the only one who actually heard my freestyles (he was hiding to see what I was doing). What can I do to keep my flow 24/7.
When someone ask me to rap, I want to be on the top of my game.

pretend ur the only person in the room......or pretend these people are tryna offer u a record deal and either u got to come hard or go home.....be confident.....turn away from them if u have to....when im singing in front of people i pretend im alone at home in the shower....and i sing my heart out....i can spit to...my rhymes be the flyest when im under the influence tho(alcohol only)....i can go for days and the ish be on point....
 
To help you with writing you can record a freestyle you do and then write it down later, and tweek it if need be. As for the nervousness, its all mental, you have to relax. Spit in front of one person, when your comfortable move to two or three and so fourth. The real thing is subconsciously you are scared of them not liking it, but if you are real about rapping you have to get over that, you cant be famous and not be able to rap in front of others. Just take a breath and be confident, you got this. Good luck!
 
Just take a minute to calm yourself down and collect your thoughts before you start.. Don't worry about impressing them that's why your better when you aren't worried about anyone listening
