I just got the scare of my life! I was giving my 7-month old son his dinner, he wanted out of his high chair, so I put him on my lap to feed him. While I gave him his food (the spoon still in his mouth) he let out a high-pitched scream, and started crying (without making a sound). I was afraid he'd choke so I took a cloth and quickly wiped the food out of his mouth. He was getting red he cried that hard, and kept screaming in between cries. A high-pitched wail. I've never heard anything like it. I put him in his crib with a bottle, and he calmed down, but started crying again when he was done with the bottle... he didn't finish his dinner, but he doesn't seem to want any more. We had a busy day (went shopping) so could it be he's a little sore from being in his stroller and car seat too much? He doesn't have a fever. I gave him a bath and he's in bed, not crying, but not happy either. I gave him some Tylenol... just in case. Any ideas what could be wrong?
Could teething do this to them? He has his two bottom teeth, but no sign of the top ones yet. Could he have hurt himself with the two he has (bit into his gums). Seriously, I'm stumped and a little worried... this is the first time he's done something like this.
Nothing new, because we had a long and busy day, I just gave him some baby food from a jar... I didn't heat it up.

And to the person who said my son's manipulating me... he's 7 months old, he knows nothing about manipulation and has NEVER EVER done something like this...
