I heard of FTA (free to Air) receivers and wonder what they offer in programming.  I have heard of some people that say they are still pirating Dish Network, but haven't the desire / knowledge to do that. Besides if the FTA is actually free and legal it seems to be the way to go, but I still would like to get some of the featured extra pay channels of DirecTV.
