what kind of t-mobile phone should I get for texting/talking?

i want to upgrade to t-mobile phone. please dont say sidekick. i want a phone that would be easier to text. Something like the samsung gravity it has a keyboard. I was also thinking of getting a blackberry curve. Is the blackberry good to use. Also I am not sure if you want access to the internet or email for the blackberry you have to pay extra, right? What phone is most comfortable to use?
Also which phone has a GPS. does t-mobile have that?
