What penalty would you dish out on (alleged) Australian arsonists?

I lived in Canberra and in the affected area when Bushfires ravaged the western suburbs. At that time I thought Hell had come to Earth.
However, with the terribly recent Victorian Bushfires, the Canberra Fires seem so small in comparison.

There is speculation that these fires are the result of arsonists. Unbelievable deliberate and premeditated actions.
Considering the billions of dollars damage, the 750 homes razed and 108 lives snuffed out, with a death toll expected to rise…

If you were a judge, hearing the case of these arsonists, what would be your final sentence?
 
That's a tough one. On one hand they should rot in jail. On the other, they should be forced to compensate their victims. If I had a third hand I would suggest the death penalty.
 
Well considering these morons have killed innocent people the penalty must be the maximum Life without parole.
 
Put them against a brick wall and shoot them in the back of the head like a bunch of dogs.
