Vegas with DivX? I've been toying around with Fraps, Sony Vegas and DivX, recording and rendering gaming footage to place on Youtube and similar, and after my fifth render I had a really great set of settings that worked for my 1440 by 900 pixels media that you can see here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9u9li8Hu_w
If you flip on HD, it looks very near in-game quality, but at a pretty reasonable (I think 900 megabytes) filesize. You can even pretty clearly read the shrunken chatbox!
But a few weeks ago I uninstalled XP and installed my upgrade Windows 7 Ultimate copy, and now that I've gotten both Fraps, Sony Vegas and DivX again I can't seem to find the set of options that produce the kind of quality I had on that particular video.
The raw, unedited footage is 1440x900 in pixel size, 16:9 in aspect ratio and recorded at 30 frames per second. What settings would be good for that kindof footage?
Request more info, if you aren't sure you're toting the right solution!
