I'm 25 I work on a crew of 5 including boss, the oldest worker which is 62 has been picking at me for about 2 years now about my sexual orientation, I have to make up gf's so he will leave me alone about it, and now has moved to calling me a manatee, and describes why he calls me that. Being manatees are fat/slow/and stupid. The constant remarks like a real man would do "this" or "that" like I do. Are constant, I’m a pretty easy going guy I shrug it off, some times I’ll throw out a "old" joke. But he will pick at me till he gets an emotional outburst out of me and then he'll continue to brag about it for the rest of the day to the rest of the crew. Well last week I had been sick was feeling good, and first thing he did one morning was start running his mouth about how I’m not a real man, I blew up and said " Fuck you, wetback". I know that’s shameful I’m never said anything racial before, it just came out and didn’t realize it till I walked off to calm down. Now he turned me into our Human Resources Dept. and we have to go into a meeting. What should I do? Did I screw myself?
