What should be on my vacation agenda in New Orleans?

If I were to spend a day in New Orleans with my husband, what would you suggest we do? We only have one full day/evening and I want to hit the most romantic/memorable spots! Any suggestions? FYI I am 25 and my husband is 27. We are visiting in late October. Thanks
