What should I do? She didn't respond? She seems interested?

so me and this girl knew each other from last year in class, but this year we were at a school dance and danced alot, then the next day i add her on facebook and she puts a :) on my wall so i started a small convo with her. Later that day i messaged her my number saying we should hang out sometime, and she replied yes definitely! so a couple days later shes texts me and we hang out at starbucks because thats her fav place to get coffee, texts seeming really flirty! so after that at school we usually just say Hi in the hallways because we are always in rush not to be late to the next class. Then bout a week ago I ask her to prom in person at school and she said aww ya Jake Id love to! we contine the same Hi in the halls, Then last night I text her Hey :) and she never responed.. and Idk for sure if she likes me and I dont want to be pushy and text her so much.. and I dont want to annoy her, so should I just straight up ask her or her best friend if I have a chance for a relationship with her? What Should I do? I want to hang out with her before prom because it's soo far away lol
 
lol..calm down hun, for what you've said everythings seems to be going smooth. If she'd "love" to go to prom with you and didnt say anything iffy like "oh i dont know..ill think about it" then that's a sure sign right there that you mightv'e been THE guy she was waiting to be asked from. Hahaha, most of us girls usually text back with every text, but that doesnt mean there arent times when we're too busy to hold our cell. We arent that obsessed with our cellphones (atleast not all of us) :D
so yeah, she either 1) fell asleep 2) busy studying or 3) just busy with something else

I would say go for it. If your instincts say she's interested, most likely she is.
but...wait for more answers lol. Im only one person giving an opinion/'advice' so yeah(:
