I just stuck my hand in front of the magnetron on my Dish network satellite receiver/transmitter (not touching anything, but between the magnetron and the bowl), and it warmed me up. Is it dangerous? Did it injure me? The F.C.C. Statement label is:"This reciever complies with the so and so...". But, it is not a reciever, it's a reciever/transmitter. What should I do? The adapter used is the wall mount/bracket type. It is the magnetron. The magnetron DOESN'T have an official F.C.C. label, the receiver is the only thing that has such a label.
